Clookwork Angel-Cassandra Clare does it again!

Okay so I have to admit I was very hesitant about reading this book. I was so in love with the mortal devices I didn't think this book could live up to them, but I was wrong! Both books may be about shadow hunters and the shadow word but Cassandra Clare did an awesome job telling two totally awesome stories.

Clockwork angel is the ancestors of the characters in The Mortal Instruments. MY opinion is I think you should read mortal instruments and then Clockwork Angel, however they were wrote to be read in any order.

Clockwork angel is about a young girl named Tessa Gray, who believes shes a normal teenage girl [sound familiar? its so not!] until her aunt passes away and she heads to London to live with her brother [or at least that's what she thinks!] however she is greeted by some strange characters when she arrives claiming they work with her brother. It turns out Tessa is a strange character herself. She is locked up and trained aka tormented until shes rescued by William Herondale [shadow hunter]

Will is a lot like Jace in his sarcastic big-headed ways but i feel in books to come we will learn the softer side.

And then there is Jem aka James, another shadow hunter who has a huge heart and is the sweet boy next door. [except for the whole slaying demons thing!]

And you can't forget Jessamine who is the perfect lady, and youll learn she just doesnt want to be a fighter, its not lady like.

Tessa is thrown into the institute for her protection as well as her powers while trying to find her brother. The nephilim are trying to protect Tessa and the world from some clockwork creatures and possible vampires. As stated on the description from the book "Tessa realizes she may need to choose between saving her brother and helping her new friends save the world...and that love may be the most dangerous magic of all. "

Cassandra does it again with her story that will keep you on the edge of the seat, just be prepared again for another sleepless night!

I'm not sure how many Infernal Device's books there will be, but Clockwork Prince comes out in December of 2011, I am per-ordering so get ready for a post when I get finished!
